Rink! I know right, I'd never debate over comments... :). Theologians aren't sure if it is derogatory or not. It comes from Acts 26 where they said the believers in Antioch were called Christians. It's a lot better to have a separate blog than have a comment war on someone's site(who would do that?). What's funny is that the term Christian was a derogatory term at first wasn't it? They were called little Christs as a joke in the first days of the church. As you were saying, the original church were called believers. As Solomon would say, I think a lot of posts about words and phrases in relation to a church are like chasing after the wind. I like what you’ve done here.
